Social Media Marketing and Search Engine Optimization

Social media marketing and search engine optimization go hand in hand, but it's crucial to understand each on their own to fully appreciate their relationship.

Search engine optimization is the process of manipulating potential online clients to lean toward a specified marketer by creating some new content, but mostly by linking, tagging, and so on existing content so that a user will notice said content. In other words, when a user types in the word "auction" into Google, eBay may pop up thanks to how much content is out there regarding auctions, but more importantly connecting, eBay with the tag "auction." If SEO did not do its job, search engines would be useless and ineffective.

However, the biggest concern for business isn't if a user is confused or not online, such as facing the chaos of a lousy search engine, but that the confused potential client seeks refuge from the chaos and disarray of such search engines with a specified marketer, such as eBay.

The prime concern of SEO is to promote a product/service so that it may gain enough attention from potential clientele to evolve into just clientele.

Again, online users have a purpose. By showcasing a marketer's commonality with that user's purpose, search engine optimization has done its job. In fact, domination on search engine results pages (SERP) is key to a successful search engine optimization, as the title entails; SEO should monopolize SERP.

The process itself is a cyclical one, where Keyword Research leads to a Web design, which leads to on-page optimization, leading to off-page optimization, leading to analytics, which eventually ends up "back" to keyword research. The mentioned optimization stages refer to social media marketing and social marketing optimization, both of which add to the optimization of SEO itself by creating new content and networks.

In theory, the simple mission of SEO is to up web trafficking. In other words, search engine optimization tires to lead more users toward a specified site, or marketer. A negative way of looking at the process is SEO attempting to get as many pigs as it can to get slaughtered.
